What data we process
- Data you send us: when you email us, fill in the quote request form, call us or contact us on LinkedIn, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, company, job title, the product you are interested in, how you heard about us and the content of your message.
- Technical data: the server hosting this website may automatically record your IP address, the date and time, the requested page and the browser type. These logs are needed for security and operation.
- Information about how you reached the site, sent together with the form: the referring site (for example LinkedIn) and the campaign parameters from the address (utm_*).
- Usage data (pages viewed, device and browser type, country), only if you accept statistics cookies.
The forms on the website (quote request and Academy waitlist) send the data you enter to our server, from where it reaches our team by email and internal work tools (for example messaging or a CRM), which act as processors. If sending fails, your email app opens with a pre-filled message. The website uses Google Analytics only with your consent (see below) and runs no advertising tools. Fonts are served from the same server, not from third parties.
Purposes and legal bases
- We respond to your requests and prepare quotes. Basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries (point (f)).
- We conclude and perform contracts. Basis: performance of a contract (point (b)) and legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations (point (c)).
- We keep the website secure and working. Basis: our legitimate interest (point (f)).
- Statistics about how the website is used, only if you accept statistics cookies. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Kubernetes.md Academy waitlist: we email you about the launch. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- We do not send marketing communications without a legal basis, and you can object at any time.
Who we share data with
Data may be accessed by providers that help us operate (for example hosting, email and work tools), acting as processors, and by accounting or legal advisers. We do not sell your data. We may disclose it to authorities only where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
We have offices in Romania and in the Republic of Moldova, so data may be accessed from both countries. Where data reaches a country without a European Commission adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Inquiries and quotes without a contract: up to 24 months after the last communication, then we delete or anonymize them.
- Contract data and accounting records: for the periods required by law.
- Academy waitlist email: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: for the period set by the hosting provider, generally limited.
- Google Analytics data (only if you accept): for the period set in Google Analytics, at most 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on it. To exercise them, write to contact@runcloud.ai. We reply within one month at most.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Romania, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro); in the Republic of Moldova, the national personal data protection authority.
Cookies and third-party services
We use Google Analytics 4 for statistics about how the website is used, only with your consent. Until you choose, no Google script loads and no cookies are set. If you accept, Google sets cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) and receives data about your visit: pages viewed, duration, device and browser type, and country. Google Analytics 4 does not log IP addresses. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, with possible transfers to Google LLC (USA), based on the safeguards provided by the GDPR. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. We do not use this data for advertising. If you click links to LinkedIn or runcloud.ai, you leave this website and the processing of your data is governed by those services’ policies.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: limited access to data, encrypted connections and trusted providers.
Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published here, with the date of the last update.
