What does “managed” mean, and what stays my responsibility?
The RunCloud.AI engineering team operates the infrastructure layer: Kubernetes clusters, nodes and networking, managed databases, backups, monitoring and incident response. Your team stays responsible for the application code, container images and deployment manifests, and for product decisions. Help with containerizing an application, building CI/CD pipelines or migrating an existing application is offered separately, as a fixed-price service or within the DevOps as a Service packages.
Where does the infrastructure run and who operates it?
The RunCloud.AI platform runs in data centers in Timișoara (Romania, European Union) and Chișinău (Republic of Moldova) and is operated entirely by the RunCloud.AI engineering team. At packages M and L, the infrastructure can also run in another public cloud, for example AWS, Azure or DigitalOcean, or in an on-premise or hybrid setup. The setup is agreed in the quote. You choose the region when you sign.
Can I choose where my data is hosted?
Yes. When you sign, you choose the region your infrastructure runs in: Timișoara (Romania, European Union) or Chișinău (Republic of Moldova). If you have data residency requirements, write them in your request, and we agree the backup location in the quote.
Do you offer AI and GPU infrastructure?
Yes. ML/AI Kubernetes includes compute instances and Kubernetes clusters with NVIDIA GPUs, plus Kubeflow (Pipelines, Notebooks, KServe, Katib, Model Registry). Prices start at $250 per month.
